When I first asked Dawn to look at my garden and offer her recommendations I had absolutely no idea what to do and my garden was fully overgrown and full of weeds. After seeing her passion and knowledge I decided to give her full autonomy in doing my garden however she decided as long as the maintenance requirements were low. I was astounded with how much better my garden became with very little work.
One of the best parts of my day now is sitting outside with my morning coffee taking in all the good work she has done.

She understood what we wanted to achieve and we were thrilled with the outcome. Dawn is happy to address any issues or questions you might have about the work done and quick and very efficient with her service keeping you updated at all times. We will definitely be getting her back for further work. Highly recommended.
“Dear Moogy and Dawn,
I’ve just had Moogy here in my living room, live in TV from England, where he was, for the return to the country ceremony. I felt touched to hear the news and very proud to know you both. Thank you very much for your work and to have had the time to share time and experience with us, at the school of architecture. The trip in Port Augusta went very well this year, the outcomes very interesting. We had more participants from the Aboriginal community and everybody was very interested to know about our work. Hope we can continue the collaboration with you all also in the future. Looking forward to show you the results.”

Yes I received it [Pinky and Peet book] and it is great. I’ll use it to have a discussion about author’s intent and target audience and then have my students make their own book about an Australian endangered animal with a narrative in the front and a report at the end.

I have had the pleasure of meeting Dawn when I attended the Employer Awareness training in Coober Pedy. I found Dawn’s presentation very professional. Dawn made the presentation fun – that helps in us understanding the topic. Her knowledge and preparation for the program enabled us to look at how we handle the topic. I would recommend Dawn of Emu Consulting as I know she will deliver what is expected from any training course she undertakes.”

Emu Consulting recently assisted me in gathering information on developing an orchard feasibility plan. I was very impressed with Dawn’s commitment, co-ordination and follow-up. It is obvious Dawn loves helping people and working in a range of natural resource management areas. Thank you Dawn.

I have been fortunate to have Dawn deliver a number of lectures to two undergraduate topics in the last three years. She has given students relevant, timely insights into the world of environmental management, particularly the ways in which people can overcome difference and work cooperatively. She has access to invaluable relationships with Aboriginal groups in South Australia which is increasingly important to the holistic management of our environment. I value her knowledge, her experience and her effective communication with my students. Dawn makes a contribution to graduates who are more engaged and skillful environmental managers.

The community of Andamooka (800 people) is not under any Local Government or Council jurisdiction and is ‘run’ entirely by an elected group of dedicated volunteers and two part time employees, through the APOMA Office. We here at APOMA (Andamooka Progress & Opal Miners Association) have for the past 12 months used Emu Consulting for a variety of tasks, including community consultancy and in the undertaking of the development plans to justify the employment of a Community Development Manager through various Government channels. In that time and with these set criterions in mind we have found Emu Consulting to be exemplary in all that they have undertaken on our behalf here at APOMA and can highly recommend them for the professional expertise that they offer.
Peter Allen - Chairperson - APOMA
Dawn and Moogy, Thanks so much for your involvement in our community event. The Smoking Ceremony was greatly enjoyed by all the attendees. It was great to see the children following Moogy around as he carried out the ceremony.” Also, thank you so much for your other assistance at the launch last week. It was great to be able to relax and enjoy the event knowing that you had the photos and video covered.

My husband and I are in the process of gaining a liquor licence, for a small business venture we have. Dawn at Emu Consulting has assisted us with the procedure. We are very pleased with her services; she has been prompt, efficient and very reassuring when obstacles have arisen and has gone out of her way to rectify the obstacles in a very professional way. We would highly recommend her services, especially when dealing with Government departments.
